Andrew "Drew Guy" McMillan (1983-2003)

Andrew is laughing. In my mind, he smiles that bright smile and I can hear the familiar sound of his unmistakable laugh. Who was Andrew? An unfaltering friend, an inspiring leader, a dear son? Andrew was all of these things and so many more. He inspired awe by his great confidence and abilities. He was an extremely gifted student who possessed limitless drive and ambition. Those lucky enough to have known Andrew experienced firsthand that he offered endless support and love to those he cared about most. His quick wit and bold humor drew so many to him. His love is what kept them. His smiles and jokes brought light to the darkest of my days and the void realized by the tragic loss of Andrew is one that will never be filled for he is truly irreplaceable. I miss Andrew inexpressibly, as so many others do - but Andrew is ever far in memory, and there he is laughing.
